You might have seen a showing of the DVD Flock of Dodos at a recent Skeptics event. The DVD takes a close look at the idiocy of Intelligent Design, the evolved form of creationism. Australasian Science magazine contains a regular column from Australian Skeptics called The Naked Skeptic. We are gradually adding all past columns to this site, and you can see the work in progress here. You can see the latest column here.

The Web Wrangler can't do all this by himself. He has a life, a job and his own projects, so contributions to this site are always welcome. The only restrictions are that the material must have something to do with the aims and objectives of Australian Skeptics and must not expose us to legal action. Get writing.

The War Against Boys : How Misguided Feminism Is Harming Our Young Men by Christina Hoff Sommers. It is always a good thing to correct an injustice. It is not such a good thing when the correction veers too far and the injustice is reversed. Unfortunately, for some fanatics total destruction of the other side is the minimum acceptable outcome. Some feminists are just this sort of fanatic.
